Mediaseruni.co.id – A video of TikToker with the initials EY, also known as Popo Barbie, masturbating with a mannequin went viral. After a few days, the police apprehended him. Currently, Popo Barbie is undergoing intensive questioning at the Jambi Regional Police.
The TikToker from Kerinci, Jambi, had previously clarified that he was not the one who spread the video.
The search column for ‘Popo’ on Twitter suddenly became trending. Popo is the name of a TikToker from Kerinci. Many netizens expressed disgust upon discovering the video of the man known as Popo Barbie. From several edited video clips, it can be seen that Popo was kissing a half-body mannequin.
He appeared to be wearing only a green-colored shirt, with his lower body exposed. Popo’s actions received criticism from netizens, especially since this indecent behavior was not his first offense.
“The perpetrator with the initials EY (Popo) was apprehended by officers in Pendung Mudik Village, RT 2, Air Hangat District, Kerinci Regency, Jambi,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Regional Police, Mulia Prianto, as quoted by detikSumbagsel on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Popo Barbie was arrested on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at around 10:00 AM local time. “Initially, the police received information from the public regarding the viral video (of the masturbation). Subsequently, the suspect and the evidence were taken and secured at the Kerinci Police Station for further proceedings,” said Mulia.
Mulia stated that they could not yet confirm whether the circulating video was disseminated by the suspect himself or by someone else.
